Personal profile:
Institute of Space Sciences, Shandong University (Weihai)
Zhang’s research focus is planetary remote sensing and spectroscopy, using radiative transfer model to understand chemical and physical properties of planetary surface materials. He involved in the Chinese Chang’E-1 and Chang’E-3 lunar missions, working on data processing and calibration of imaging spectrometers onboard these missions. His recent studies include photometric properties of lunar magnetic anomalies (lunar swirls) and spatial-temporal distributions of lunar surficial H2O/OH.
