Personal profile:

Professor, Ph. D Supervisor,

Principal Investigator (PI) of Planetary Science Group, Institute of Space Sciences, Shandong University, Weihai

My research focuses on planetary remote sensing and spectroscopic studies. My planetary remote sensing studies are conducted using hyperspectral imaging datasets returned by Chinese and international lunar and Mars' missions. On the other hand, I also conduct spectroscopic and mineralogical studies of meteorites and planetary analogs in lab, combined with remote sensing studies to interpret the formation and evolution of planetary bodies (with emphasis on the Moon and Mars).

Area of Primary Interest:

(1) Compositional remote sensing of the Moon and Mars;

(2) Laboratory analogue studies of martian hydrated minerals;

(3) Geochemical and mineralogical analysis of lunar meteorites;

(4) Geological evolution, surface processes and environmental changes of planetary bodies;

(5) Planetary Raman and LIBS spectroscopy, etc.
